Sampaguita is the common name for Jasminum Sambac in the Philippines. It is widely known as the national flower of our country and is known for its fragrant aroma and its white, star-shaped blossom. It is derived from two Filipino words "sumpa" and "kita which translates to I promise you. It symbolizes dedication, devotion and love. This napkin ring is lovingly made by artisans of Paete, Laguna in the Philippines.
